parasitoid fly larva. As of sat, march 7 A reddit post showed a grub like creature coming out of her beetles anus. At first I wondered if it could be a parasitic wasp larvae, but considering there was only one larva and the owner had not seen any eggs on the beetle I find it not likely. Then I stumbled upon parasitic fly larva, this seems more likely as thy are know to show up in beetles and look identical to the video, plus thy are much more likely to only have laid one egg. (Tho thy tippicly lay more) for these reasons this is what it will be called until I conduct further research.
50/50 wax. Is coused when there is a scratch on one side of the body. *Tho I dont know why this stops the hole half that is scratched to lose wax and not just the area around the wound* This can be a visible scratch or a hidden scratch. This is normally (harmless)Vomiting a defense mechanism deployed by all Desert beetles. It's also called "...."
Spermatophores. Male BDFB (and possibly other related beetles) will make spermatophores, or packets of spearm that are meant to be deposited directly into the female. Need to do more research before finishing🔨
Concussion. This is coused when a beetle falls from a tall surfaces. Thy usually make a "swimming motion" that makes them look like thy are Perpetually trying to escape from something. This can lead to death, but is uncommon.
